1956 Studebaker President Classic Four-Door Sedan Is Shown at the 2016 Hilton Head Concours d'Elegance
It was the Hilton Head Island Concours on Nov. 6. Mark James defied all logic and took a four-door sedan (the ugly duckling of the Concours set)! We won the Palmetto Award for our class behind a perfect Cadillac Brougham. Almost unheard of for a four-door sedan to achieve such an award!

Rare 1956 Studebaker Golden Hawk Obtained
While researching for his book on the design and history of the Studebaker Golden Hawk, Mark became fascinated by the more rare 1956 Studebaker Sky Hawk, the Golden Hawk’s “little brother.” After searching for almost two years, he finally located an excellent example in Lexington, Ky., to add to his collection.

Limited-Edition Prints of the Painting Commissioned by Mark James ("Dusk Hawks") Now Available for Sale
Mark James has commissioned a painting of his personal collection of Studebakers by noted artist, David Snyder. The painting is available as a limited-edition print. The painting and the prints were unveiled at the Hershey Car Show (AACA) on October 8. The prints are signed and numbered by the artist. Mark James Shows 1958 Golden Hawk at the 2016 Concours d'Elegance of America
The 1958 Golden Hawk owned by Mark James is displayed here on the show field in July at the 38th Annual Concours d'Elegance of America at the Inn at St. John's in Plymouth, Michigan. The car won the Lion Award for the American Postwar Class.
